....the new tradition of not taking care of business whilst campaigning for re-ellllection to the position you've been shirking while throwin' rocks at the other party and telling the voting public you are the best of all possible choices...etc...etc...ad infinatum.....and the american public that all the candidates are sworn to serve is camped out in public parks holding signs of protest that collectively say.....

....from my vantage point the republican debates are entertaining (but would be more so if they had to tequila shots everytime they chriticized obama...and were held in ...let;s say;;;;;a vat of jello in a biker bar....) but the american people deserve so much better.....
....it's two minute drill time for jobs,healthcare , the eonomy......the whole deal...the people want to go to work for a living wage so they can pay taxes and raise thier families and the wealthy 1%is holding out for the common folk to voluntarily take on the shackles of medeival darkage serfdom.....
....well perry got ticked off but did'nt cold cock romney which only goes to show he's just a loudmouthed banty rooster wimp from texas.....all mouth and no spine..and there are far too many selfish agendas crowding the halls of congress and the campain trail for there to be for any rational plans.....the oakland based family radio international was wrong (again) the rapture was'nt today...( one would think self proclaimed christian ministers would actually read the bible they profess to preach..nobody will know the hour ) ....i reckon i'm not the only one readin' the papers....and knowing that our childish leaders playing silly "we don't like obama" games are hurting millions of good decent folks.....and by christmas there are a bunch of veterans who will be coming home.............and there should be good jobs waiting for them.........
..some say the decline of america started when they took the bible out of public schools....not true....the decline started when they took the bible out of the pulpit.....the self proclaimed religious right is neither religious....or right.....our country is in desperate need of revival.....i hope there are some undefiled preists hidden somewhere....

Another good post but the biker bar near me is filled with patrons who could probably never agree what flavor the jello should be let alone which candidate they support. It is easy for them to scream who they don't want but with politicos throwing more stones instead of building them into workable tools/options are limited.
ReplyDeleteMy idea of campaign reform would shorten the campaign period and movement toward requiring candidates to publish their positions and ideas publicly before being allowed to criticize other candidates beyond saying they want to be elected. Incumbents have their actions while in office speak for them and should be very limited in the amount of campaigning they do while still in elected office. Even if they are just climbing the ladder like many current office holders and most of the folks looking to replace them their current oath should be maintained above all else.
Hopefully the electorate will demand truth and base their decisions on facts rather than falling for images created by the spin monsters.
Everyone has flaws, regardless of party, but claiming to suck the least does not advance innovation.
Keep up the good work as you continue. There is always hope.
